Community Testing Locations

The Santa Cruz County Surveillance Testing System (STS) is designed for asymptomatic Santa Cruz County School Personnel who have health insurance. Those without health insurance, and dependents of Santa Cruz County school personnel are not eligible to participate in the STS.

However, there are a number of free and low-cost community COVID-19 testing locations available now. Asymptomatic individuals are recommended to be tested on a regular basis. Please see below for a list of community testing locations below:

  • OptumServe Community Testing

    • Ramsay Park. Located at 1301 Main Street, Watsonville CA 95076. Open Wednesday through Sunday from 7am-7pm. This test is FREE and essential workers (including school personnel) are granted priority for testing at this site. Schedule your appointment today.

    • Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. Located at 307 Church Street, Santa Cruz CA 95060. Open Monday through Friday 7am-7pm. This test is FREE and essential workers (including school personnel) are granted priority for testing at this site. Schedule your appointment today.

  • Dignity Health Medical Group. 610 Frederick Street, Santa Cruz CA 95062. Consult with your doctor for an appointment.

  • Kaiser Permanente
